Jim Shepherd

Managing Director

Jim and his wife Helen established EcoSafety in 2006.

Jim has over 25 years of experience operating at Senior Management level, determining, and dictating strategic corporate policy and advising on safety and risk management, across a wide variety of industrial sectors.

He has led and encouraged EcoSafety to pioneer a cultural approach to Safety Management by adopting a unique Business Excellence model. This challenges conventional compliance attitudes and methodologies, focussing on engagement, efficiency and consistently maintaining safety standards. This is heavily influenced by the extensive range of courses and Business Excellence Training he has undertaken at the Disney Institute.

As well as being MD for EcoSafety, Jim currently holds Director positions in both a large, private business and as a Board member of a local rugby club.

Outside of work Jim is into all things 4-wheel drive but mainly tractors!

His favourite regular holiday destination is Florida with its mix of theme parks, Cape Canaveral and it being home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
